Retired CDCR Sergeant • Investigative Journalist • Author
Russ Hamilton is a retired sergeant from the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. He began his career at San Quentin in 1989. After retiring he went on to become a Senior Juvenile Correctional Officer and the Founder of Keepers of Kaos on Facebook. He is a freelance contributor at CorrectionsOne.com and also contributes to Tier Talk on YouTube. He currently works for a private company providing rehabilitation and re-entry services for a local county probation department and a local county jail where he is a case manager. He is the author of "Killing Complacency: Tactical Awareness for Correctional Professionals" on Amazon.
